Terms & Conditions

At The Sidekick, I believe in clarity and fairness. These are the terms for working together as your fractional operator, presented in a simple and transparent way.

The Deal

  • ✔ A senior operator who plugs into your business and takes ownership

  • ✔ Execution across growth, ops, product, and tech — whatever you need

  • ✔ Async and sync communication, EU & US timezone-friendly

  • ✔ First visible output in under a week

  • ✔ No onboarding, no ramp-up, no management overhead

What I Expect From You

  • ✔ Context: Share what's going on in your business so I can make good decisions

  • ✔ Access: Give me access to the tools and platforms I need to do the work

  • ✔ Feedback: Respond to critical questions in a reasonable timeframe

  • ✔ Scope: If needs change (they often do), we adjust together — don't just pile on

How It Starts

  • ✔ You book a call via Cal.com — 15 minutes, no pitch deck, no pressure

  • ✔ We talk about what's on your plate and whether I can help

  • ✔ If it's a fit, we agree on scope and rate before any work begins

  • ✔ I start that week

No engagement begins until we've both agreed on what the work looks like.

Payment

  • ✔ Flat monthly rate, starting at $1,000/month

  • ✔ No hourly billing, no surprise invoices

  • ✔ Scope and price scale with what's actually needed — we agree upfront

  • ✔ Invoices go out at the start of each month, due within 7 days

  • ✔ Pricing is in USD unless we agree otherwise

  • ✔ If payment is overdue by 14+ days, I may pause work until it's sorted

Refunds

✔ 14-day full refund if it's not the right fit. No questions asked.

If within the first 14 days you feel this isn't working, I'll refund your first month's payment in full. I only want to work where the fit is real.

After 14 days, payments are non-refundable for the current billing period. You can cancel anytime — the engagement ends when the paid period closes.

Capacity

✔ I work with 4-5 founders at a time. That's it. This isn't artificial scarcity — it's how I keep the quality high.

✔ If I'm at capacity when you reach out, I'll be upfront about it. I can put you on a waitlist if you'd like.

Confidentiality

Everything you share with me stays between us. Business strategy, financials, operations, customer data — all of it.

  • ✔ I won't disclose anything to third parties without your written consent

  • ✔ I won't use your data to benefit other clients

  • ✔ A formal NDA is available if you want one before we start

Intellectual Property

  • ✔ Your stuff: Everything I create for you during the engagement belongs to you once you've paid

  • ✔ My stuff: Tools, templates, and frameworks I brought in before we started remain mine — but you get a license to use them in your business

  • ✔ Portfolio: I may reference the engagement in general terms — no confidential details, and you can opt out

Limitation of Liability

  • ✔ Specific business outcomes can't be guaranteed — results depend on many factors

  • ✔ My liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 3 months before any claim

  • ✔ I'm not responsible for third-party service issues (API outages, tool downtime, etc.)

Cancellation

  • ✔ No long-term contracts. Either of us can end this at any time.

  • ✔ When it ends, you get all work product, credentials, and documentation. Clean handoff, no drama.

  • ✔ You cancel: Email me, and the engagement wraps at the end of the current paid period

  • ✔ I cancel: I'll give you at least 7 days' notice and a clean handoff of everything

  • ✔ Immediate: Either side can end it right away for material breach or non-payment beyond 14 days

Governing Law

These terms are governed by Indian law, since that's where I'm based. If we have a dispute, let's try to work it out over email first — like reasonable people.

Changes to These Terms

If I update these terms, I'll email active clients about anything significant. No sneaky changes. Major changes give you the right to walk away with a full refund for the remaining period.
